Interior designers are practiced at working remotely for their clients, our in-house designer, Danielle, has been doing just that for many years and, as long as you have a camera and speaker on your phone, iPad or laptop, she can carry out a virtual home visit at a time to suit you. She may need to instruct you on how to take some critical measurements of the space or item you want to work on but everything else can be left in her capable hands to come up with a solution to your design challenge.
Is your home interior in need of attention? What changes could you make to improve the layout and, do any of your favourite pieces of furniture need some TLC or updating?
One of the upsides of being confined to our homes is that we have time to look more closely at our interior décor and reassess.

Save money by hiring an interior designer
Many will be under the illusion that hiring a professional designer will have a large fee attached. Perhaps we can help change that thinking.
There are three main benefits to hiring a professional interior designer, all of which have a beneficial impact on the cost of a home refurbishment:
Time represents money to many of us with busy lives and the time it takes a designer to come up with a design concept within your budget will be far speedier than you will be able to do for yourself
Often designers have access to suppliers not found on the high street and trade accounts that bring down the price of the products they recommend. They attend trade events and are kept up to the minute with developments in their industry through networking in their field of expertise.
How often have you made expensive mistakes by choosing a piece of furniture too large, too small or simply the wrong shape and colour for your space? Designers spend years perfecting and honing their skills, they know how to avoid such errors. Often they will produce scaled room layouts for you and concept presentations that help you visualise the finished scheme.
Once you have applied these benefits to the overall cost of a home redesign, you will probably be in pocket rather than out.
